Electric on a Rainy Day

I wore these pants on a previous post and decided I was going to pull it out of the rack before donating it. Once you've worn an electric blue print tights a few times, it becomes a wrap!

I'm really grateful that I live in one of the most incredible cities in the world, yet I rarely take pics of me out and about jetting through the city as I go from block to block. I posted this photo on Twitter, but thought I'd share it with you as well. I was on my way to see my accountant and I was finally sporting my new Balenciaga bag! Its perfect for the light weight city runs when I know I'm not gonna get too grimy! 

I worked soooo hard to get to this point in my career, and let me tell you when I was able to pay cash for that bag I knew I came a long way (I did manage to get a nice little hook up on it but still... it wasn't cheap!)

Earlier today I was itching to create something new! Its been a while since I had a moment to use my sewing machine for more than just alterations. So I decided to take a jab at this sequined fabric that I only used once as my backdrop for my twitter photo (I know, this whole time you were thinking I was at some lavish Puffy party, I was right in front of my kitchen stove! ;) I wanted something feminine and light bulb, I started shaping a skirt pattern onto the fabric and 30 minutes later I was ready to hit the NYC party scene.

Last Day in LA

My last day in LA was this past Saturday. I wanted to leave LA with a touch of Madison Avenue.
