In the ladies room! I wanted to capture my emerald green and leopard moment. There is something so luxurious and powerful when you combine the two no matter what the items cost.

Have you all noticed the summer do'? I'm on the go all Summer and I needed a hair do that reflected that lifestyle. I've been jet setting from one city to another and if there is one thing I don't want to worry about is my hair. The humidity we've had in NYC has been unbearable and I don't want my hair to have to fight it too much. So a short weave was calling my name.

After a week of working non stop this white Sangria with mango chunks made my weekend flow a little bit easier.

@ The Flea

Photobucket

When Spring is in the air fashionistas across the board should have 2 primary objectives. One, clean out your closets and toss out anything that you haven't worn in years and two hit the local fleas hunting down treasured pieces to add the punctuation to your current wardrobe.

Here, I'm on the hunt in my low key style. My latest fashion find is my YSL leopard belt. A huge splurge, but hey!

What a Blessing!

Its Round 2 guys and I really think I am nailing this do your own weave thing! After nearly 8 weeks it was time to freshen up and redo! I was watching Oprah while hitting the eliptical machine earlier today and I was so intrigued with the special on what various cultures do for beauty. One of her guest, an Indian gal discussed women in India who are known for their beautiful skin and hair. Oprah showed clippings of a ceremony where Indian women were having their heads shaved off as a way to show gratitude to one of the Hindu Goddess. Well most of that hair becomes weave! Their blessing is now my crown of glory!

Puff

This is what NYC is all about. Embracing the high fashion moments in a filthy city and hitting the grimy pavements in designer shoes. The pants are a fitted skinny #. Since I am heavy on the hips and booty, I like to wear high heels with the skinny pants to elongate the body. Its an Indonesian silk jacket and I paid $60 bucks for it from a street vendor.
