What is Black, White and Right this Season?

Photobucket

I've been becoming more engaged with wearing black the longer I live in New York. The Givenchy Spring 2010 collection is one of the more popular trends this season. Bold black and white stripes and mixing patterns of the same color codes was my fashion set for the day.

I added the scarf with the floral patterns to my look to break up the continuous horizontal lines. It can be a bit overwhelming on my D cups to have stripes across it. Revamping some old things in my closet and mixing it up with some fresh finds gave my closet new meaning!

Double Breasted

Photobucket

Picked up this cropped jacket at H&M a few days ago. I made the decision on the following principles:
1. Good Fabric, weight and shine. The viscose added to the poly was a nice blend.
2. Cropped, I'm short, 4'11 here and sometimes I get lost in the boyfriend blazers. The crop blazers keep me balanced.
3. Flattering, the silhouette is slimming!

Shape my Body

Trying on body slimmers. Look out for a feature on this in the next edition of O magazine which hits the stands on the 19th! All women should own at least one, whether it be a leg shaper or an waist slimmer, clothes look so much better with a shaper. The shaper reduces the appearance of love handles and minimizes some inches so that you may slip into your clothes a little more effortlessly.
