Bold and Bolder

Recently one of my guy friends asked me to take his adorable girlfriend shopping. She was an Island beauty with perfect skin and a great personality, but her fashion sense..........................

She wears bright colors often but the ensembles were too much of a parade, there was nothing to streamline the look and keep it chic. So we went shopping together and her warm bubbly personality mandated rich hues. I couldn't put her in the NYC gal formula of all black. I told her the key to wearing bright colors at the office is to wear something that will anchor the look. If you're going to wear a bright top, pair it with something clean neutral and chic on the bottom. This rule also applies vice versa.

There is nothing silly about beautiful bright bold colors!! The parade look begins when we wear it without stability.

Growing a Garden

Its tough... but I'm sticking out the hair change. I have been wearing my hair straight for nearly 2 years, maybe longer. Its been so long I can barely remember the last time I embraced my natural curl. I have truly been committed to the frequent blow outs. No CHEMICALS here... This is all from blow outs! What's interesting however is how over the years the overuse of heating products has completely changed the structure of the curl. Now my hair is this random texture. I am in the process of embracing it and in the process I am giving my style new avenues to venture!

Mon Ferre?

Unlike Hachy's affirmation, I put my reserve tank on and decided that I will continue to think how bad I want this necklace. It was at 50% off as well. 

Hachy's Arm Piece

While shopping today for two clients for the upcoming BET awards, Hachy and I made our way to our next market appointment at Gianfranco Ferre. As we were leaving the store an hour later we became fixated towards the window display further down the hill near Rodeo Drive. We went right back into Ferre and left with this arm piece. They were too big for me as the cuffs kept falling off. But for Hachy it was a perfect fit, and add 50% off on top of that.... we were leaving with the decadent pieces!
