Cody Ross and his dynamic design team get my swag in an uber funky downtown party girl sorta way in his collection Priestessnyc. As some of you may know, I am assistant costume designer to major celeb stylist June Ambrose on the show Harlem Heights. I recently contacted Cody about featuring his line on the show. He was psyched about it (I was more psych than him, hehe!) His collection is designed to allow someone to bring her own personality to it. When I went to his showroom, I observed how so many of the pieces can take me from downtown funk swag to madison ave chic depending on how I accessorized it. That kind of design is what makes fashion flakes like me commit to cause. If I am not limited to how I can wear an expensive blouse, I'll buy it.
