Its all about individualized interpretations of the trends. Below is a picture of one of my best friends and business partner Hachy Mendez and her BFF/my buddy Cook! Hachy and I are both stylists and we are constantly discussing how we can interpret these trends to fit our bodies! We are curvaceous women who love to dress up. Hachy does really amazing things with color and she always in the know before it hits the mags. In our process of getting glamed we continuously conquer looking too "mammy" or to "video vixen."
I say video vixen because what may look amazing on the runway of Milan and the pages of Elle can look so bonafide Hoe-ish on a girl with big breasts and a big butt So here my girl Hachy (curly fro hair love) wears prints, put tames it down with the gray wrap, tights and dark gray booties. Her pop color and statement jewelry is this beautiful ring by Samantha Wills. The dress and the wrap is by "miss me," the tights are American Apparel and the shoes by SA.
