What is behind Karl's interest in the clear shoe? Chanel in Spring 07 and now Fendi in Spring 09. Is it some sort of Cinderella paradox, a romantic association of a prince charming to our rescue of wanting more and more shoes? There is something so incredibly visually stimulating about a pretty foot in a clear shoes (hey it works for strippers!) The logic: If a trashy pair of clear platform shoes works out the desire in men to tip away for a cheesy stripper, imagine what a well crafted pair of high fashion wedges will do for us sex and the city girls!!
